On my previous LS2 and LS3's the addition of long tube headers made power everywhere, or low end losses so little the added sound made it seem faster.
There was no down side IMO, wouldn't have it any other way if I were to do it again.
The only question I would have is how much better are the tri-Y manifolds now on the LT1.
Would long tube headers still make that much improvement over the newer design manifolds.
