redcoats1976 & Giri. Just curious but if your cars came with the standard 18" wheels you also should have all season tires, which should last significantly longer than the optional 20" 'summer only' runflats.

FWIW, I replaced the original tires that came on my 2LT 1LE before 11,000 miles with two track days and I believe, three Solos on them. There was still some tread left to them (not down to the wear bars) but driving the car in the rain was definitely not a pleasant experience. Which you both are probably familiar with seeing as you live here also. The new Firestone Indy 500's I replaced them with are a vastly different story.
