Honestly the staggered summer tires on the SS is the main reason I am on my 3rd LT. Living in the northeast and knowing the summer tires are not made to run under 40 degrees, along with the fact that these expensive tires can't be rotated front to rear and the softer rubber has a much shorter average life span. In the past while living in Florida I left my summer performance tires on year round, and just the very few cold days we had there cracked the tread making the tires unsafe. I use my cars as daily drivers so that plays a huge role in my decision also...
