Had never heard of the issue until joining this site. Son has had his 17 RS V6 A8 for 9 months and the car has approx 3,325 miles on it (had 602 mi when we took delivery as dealer in NE Ms picked it up on a transfer in Southeastern Ark. ). Date of manufacture on the car door is 6/16. I often set the computer screen display to Trip A or B just to watch it change from 6 to 4 cylinders and back. It is so smooth that it has often changed b4 I remember to look. Hope it stays that way in the future, 17 year od son really likes to keep the mileage down and mainly drives only to HS and back home.
