I have 2016 SS with A8. 34000KM and no problems so far. I have a lot of fun with the manual mode but greatly appreciate the fast shifting full auto mode also. Manual mode with paddle or using the shifter changes gears about as fast I could in previous manual cars I own. It isn't instant the moment you hit the paddle/shifter, but is about the speed it would probably take me to hit to clutch, change gear, so forth in my previous manual cars. I've been very happy.

As others have said you could get the 2019 with the A10. If I was doing that I'd get an aftermarket ZL1 front end, with the ZL1 1LE grille. Though... simply vinyl wrapping or painting the center bumper portion might be enough to satisfy me. I think it looks pretty darn good painted.
