I just have a cheap Amazon sourced jack pad with a hockey puck glued to the bottom of it and I've jacked the car up several times with no issues so far. Not a mark on the frame rails. But I've always checked very carefully that it's positioned properly, and I make sure my jack is perpendicular to the car so there will be no resistance to rolling.
Maybe a stone wedged under one of the jack wheels?
