If. It the gen6 V6 is a more refined car , but for us speed freaks a gen6 V8 SS is fast as ****
11 second ets on stock tune !!
No, it's not. It's a few hundred lb lighter, but think about it, that's like one passenger. The gen 5 was also a torque-monster with the LS3. I had one, it was nice. The gen 6 is undoubtely more nimble and a better chassis, but the 5 was still pretty good with the V8. I upgraded the sways, put in a strut brace, and it was absolutely on rails and amazing. Although I'd like to drive a V6 1LE, I don't think a V6 gen 6 will be better than a gen 5 SS. My gen 6 SS is not that much better compared to my 5 to make me think this. Both of these would purr along at 1000rpm up hills at 50mph. Don't even think about trying that with the V6. The gen 6 is better, but it's a lot more evolutionary than revolutionary.
