Vegnence has said their piston is the stock CR. Did you use the ARP bolts on the rods? You are correct that the stock rod bolts are torque to yield. Crazy..
Your cam is a little bit smaller and has a wider lobe sep. I think your cam has 0* OL. This cam has 5* OL. If I clean up the fuel a little up top and add a degree or two of timing it will pull cleanly to 7K.
