There are a ton of guys over at performancetrucks.net that have been running up to 1000hp on stock blocks/internals (well maybe spings and cam) once they filed down the rings a bit. Though those guys were the LS based motors when a 4.8 v8 can push 1000hp on stock internals once the rings are filed/ their cave point was around 600hp as well (prior to filing the rings).... Just makes me think....

Kidding, I love giving him a hard time. He’s essentially running over 700rwhp on a stock car with the Magnuson, Upgraded fuel system and drag pack. Thing is he ran all last year at 670rwhp with just alky injection. Low 10’s wasn’t good enough so he pushes on. He’s so close to 9’s now that you can see the illness overcoming him.
