This version has a metal (aluminum?) handle and drain. There is a threaded plastic nipple that you can run with a tube out through the bottom of the car. I didn't mount the nipple.

Installed mine at 2K miles, once I get the car up to ~4K miles I'm going to do an oil change, empty the catch can, and take the SC lid off to see how much puddling this can prevents.

Having said that, I'm at 3K miles now and the car hasn't used any oil. But, I also have not tracked, raced, hammered the hell out of it all that much either.
