I didn't realize the date on this thread! 
There was an instructor at the last Camaro Fest who tailed me around NCM road course without losing me in a stock 1SS...no fluid, no special pads, no hp mods...it was a rental.
His skill was such that he was able to keep up with me, and very nearly pass me in about half a lap.
At that moment where he could have passed me - he boiled his brakes. 
So the SS is pretty damn good in stock form, especially in the hands of a driver like that. |
Its the guys on bicycles looking for a point by that always get my goat. Hey someone has to be the slowest driver out there.
