Add a supercharger and add 60-70% more air in to the engine, then the pressure in the exhaust system starts to rise.
This back pressure and heat backs up into the combustion chamber causing unwanted knock and restriction that limits power.
It is a fact that the more air you can get into and out of an engine the more fuel you can burn and the more power you can make.
There will always be Hurdles in making more power, The simplest to solve is improving Air flow in and out.

at what point would you recommend upgrading the headers?
I remember you had a before and after dyno thread for all the bolt on. What kind of gains and benefits would long tubes get on a FI 6th gen ?
