Yeah, you need to just take better care of the wrap. Getting it re-wrapped is going to look great for a couple days, maybe two weeks, until you wash it a few times and it starts to get that not so uniform finish to it again and you'll wonder what's going on.
A good wax or sealant will help keep the consistent, uniform look.
