If there was even a hint that GM was going to do a hot running sport Colorado or Silverado with an available crew cab, then things might get serious.
The RAM was also easily the least capable..

1,520 payload for the v8 crew cab RAM and my F150 is 1,998..

My friend has a 2012 and I'm not sure it rides any better or noticeably than my F150, bur he also doesn't have the air suspension.. Perhaps a newer model year even though same gen rides better.. Not sure.
