What would happen if you had a 285 30 20 inch on one side of your rear axle and 305 30 20 inch on the other side? Will the few millimeter difference be enough to cause a problem with the differential? would it go into limp home mode has anyone experiment with this yet ? I ask because I have an extra 285 30 20 inch tire Mounted on an extra rim that I plan to take on longer trips and use in case of a nonrepairable flat was hoping I could just put it on front or rear positions of the car and go .. ideas?
