I have an SS but I don't consider myself a "V8 guy". I would have been just as happy with a V6. The love for the V6 is everywhere. Virtually every person who has a V6 loves it and has lots of fun. I think the reason you don't see as much discussion about it on the forums is because V6 owners are out driving more. Whereas the I4 and V8 get more garage time either just sitting in the winter or being worked on.
