Dude, it doesn't have a clutch. It never disengages the wobble plate. The internals will always be moving, even at 5% displacement (can't go to 0). The pistons never stop moving. Sanden, Zexel, Denso, etc. All have compressors like these and yes, some even have both a clutch AND variable displacement. But some do not have a clutch.
