The video IMadeYouReadThis linked is with the NPP exhaust in sport mode. Compare that with my video, bone stock everything and regular exhaust, and you have your answer on the differences between them. I'm not sure that NPP makes it louder necessarily, but it sounds better. Also, you asked if my tires spin easily, and thats a definite yes if I'm turning from a stop. They will also spin a little in a straight line from a stop with traction control on, and you can certainly get it sideways, but thats because it hits the peak torque really low and then never builds on it. I drove my roommate's modified G8 last night and these SS guys are not kidding when they say the V8 is a different monster lol. As for a tight autocross, the V6 1LE is going to be very close to a bare bones SS. You're seriously not going to make the wrong decision either way.
