It's well known that the Michelin Pilot Super Sport was pretty much the "best"
all around high performance street tire, cold, hot, dry, damp, track, or street. If you figure that, then the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S pretty much out does it in every way, especially wet performance where the MPSS sometimes had issues if it was REALLY wet out. The MPS4S handles in cool temperatures, it handles when the tires aren't hot, it handles in all types of conditions wet or dry, and I bet that VERY few ZL1 owners could "out drive" the grip potential of them on the track. The chances of you needing a Slick or even the 3R tires are pretty slim. All in all, yeah I'd say they're probably the best.
