Yup, you need R-1234yf.
Well, actually you probably need a few other things. Like a vacuum down and a system flush, maybe, probably?, a new orifice tube if you used the wrong freon.
Cars should have a sticker for refrigerant type under the hood. On the 6th inside the bottom side of the hood corner close to the steering wheel/left side of vehicle, right side when you are looking at it. (Varies by car model, my Honda and Mazda have it sround the radiator aroud or coolant expansion tank). They usually also have the capacity listed on that sticker, but some cars don't.
