I know for the 5th/6th gens some people have problems with the cheap Chinese CAIs, including the silicon elbow compressing under load.

i got the 3.8L and yea but the k&n's are $200 and i can't bring my self to spend that must on a plastic tube and an air filter for a v6. but any way here is the link it is me most generic thing but has good reviews.
