One small example would be my 52 year old Chevelle. You'd be stunned at how original the car appears down to the lowly 12 bolt differential. It does quite well at making 900 hp stick at launch. It's certainly not a road course type of car but not everyone who buys a Vette drives in circles either. This is 2018 and like it or not the engines are laying down very impressive power ratings. It's up to the end used to utilize the power. The overpriced Euro car's are sucking hind tit.

You just admitted to having 900 hp with a "lowly" 12 bolt differential, yet you think I sound like the Cars and Coffee type lol? I've never been to one. Too busy doing track days and autocross. Your Chevelle makes that power stick by having tires that won't come on a production car and weighing a lot, which a Vette chassis won't. Just like you said, it doesn't turn and regardless of what you do with it, a Vette is MEANT to turn. 2018 hasn't altered the laws of physics last I checked, and if a PRO, CHAMPION race car driver thinks 650 in a Vette chassis is unbalanced, we don't stand a snail's chance in hell with 800 hp in a Vette. That being said, overpriced Euro trash can be surprising:
Clearly, we don't need more power for comparing ourselves to others, we need more chassis/drivetrain development so the Vette can continue to stick it to the Euros at a lower cost and higher reliability.
Here's a previous gen ZR1, rated 20 hp more than the Huracan and weighing less. Watch the Huracan smoke it, all it took was AWD and DCT. Not more power.
