It works completely differently than the A8 as well. Much different mechanics involved from what I am understanding.
It keeps multiple gears spinning at the same time so you arent waiting for gear sets in the trans to come up to speed.

I agree, I could never feel good about the A8 in the corvette in 2015, 16, 17, Caddy had issues, Camaro right off the bat in 2016 has issues with the A8 and it never really performs like the ZF A8 in Dodge in any application. The only way I would have one is would have tobe modified, tuned and AFM operation removed and void my drivetrain warrantee.
