Didn't know the A8 had launch control?
My brother was a die-hard M6 guy, I got my 6gen, an show room stock hurt his Full bolt-on feelings, so he went an test drove the '18 mustang with A10 and 3.55s, was sold on that transmission because at how fast and responsive it was in stock form. A week later he traded his car in on an '18 A10 3.15 car.
Showroom stock, both of our cars were even for the most part. From a dig that Mustang wouldn't spin no matter how hard he launched it which gave him an advantage. From a 40roll the Camaro would put lengths on the Mustang. 60Roll the cars were dead even.
The Mustangs 40 roll was later fixed with a tune from Lund, and the car will now spin the oem tires on a launch, but hook really well on some Hoosiers.
We've both done nearly the same mods to our cars over the last 6months, the cars have remained quite even with each other.
So I'm curious if the Camaro A10 will have the same sluggish 40 hit that the Mustang did, and also what rear gear they put in the car. Everyone agrees that the A8 could use a bit of gearing, so I hope they don't put some trash economy gear behind the A10.
