Can't stand that green paint though. I know why they did it, but unfortunately it looks like Ford had some leftover paint from the 2000's Eddie Bauer Edition Explorer. Well the problem that Ford keeps repeating is that they're using *Dark* Highland Green. The original 390 GT that was in Bullitt (or should I say, the original trio of cars) were in Highland Green..no dark part.
DHG was exactly as you say..a leftover truck/SUV paint of similar code that they just used due to being lazy.
It's just that heritage thing, but certain colors don't fit in now like they did then.
