technically I wouldn't say inferior. as long as the part stays in the working range...it should be more than sufficient.

the tech removed one side and the other side became loaded and the off load pressure popped it out. accidental completely.

I will say with the composite material, the overall weight was def lighter overall. the middle composite part was strong. but comparing it to the steel housing and shaft... steel would be harder/stiffer. weight savings was the name of the game on the 6th gen.
