I like how the 3D printed prototype end pieces followed the body lines at the bottom and then tapered into a more vertical line at the top. For me, there is no flow/transition from the body to the end pieces in the top pic. I would be much more interested if the end pieces looked like the ones in the bottom pic from the rear.
