As far as different manufacturers front and back that's a hang up you'll need to discuss with your therapist. jk
I have the same thought process, but it really is not valid, provided the tires are of the same type. The only (lesser) concern is looks and sound...are the fronts louder than the rears...or vice versa?
Bottom line: imo, if you've done your homework and those are the tires you want, get 'em.
