Based on that TSB I would remove the E85 kit from the line and recheck the noise and definitely leave it off until after the repair. I say this because the TSB relates to noise in the low side which is where the E85 kit mounts.
For the warranty issue it's a 50/50, as long as GM doesn't get involved.
