Not the same animal, but I ran euro spec Mobile 1 0-40W in my cammed 2010 SS. Supplied the oil and Wix filter and the dealer did the changed for $15 bucks a pop. They charged for the labor and I have a good relationship with them. For brake fluid, I started using Castrol SRF since our Gov't had the bright idea to ban dyed brake fluids. Clear and blue made flushing a no brainer, but it just made too much sense. Took the tech 2 quarts of SRF to flush it completely and about a quart to flush the calipers for subsequent track days. Got all fluids off Amazon at a decent price.
Running DBA rotors and Hawk DTC 60/70 pads so they get really hot and a little soft after a track weekend. Swap back to stock pads in between.
