I bought my 2016 used with 9,700 miles in late August last year.
The previous owner had done a muffer delete and installed Wicked Flow exhaust tips. To me, it sounded like crap and loud in the cabin. The car has the NPP set up and I have no idea what the owner was thinking to do such a thing.
So, soon after I got the car, I cut off the Wicked Flow tips and installed the Borla S-type axle backs.
Turns out it was a hack job with the Wicked Flow tips with the install technique and with the welding. I am so glad I removed those things just for that reason alone.
Now the sound is so much better, the car sounds like a muscle car should sound instead of like a truck. And the cabin is so much quiter as well. No drone.
Of course, that all changes when you put the hammer down! But even then it is not obnoxious.
