Yes, however I've been told that the valves will close when cruising below 3k rpm's. I tried it and didn't hear a difference when I opened with mild to wild.

You sure you were in Service Mode not accessory? The DRLs will come on and your 12V socket will be working in Service Mode but no accessory. I originally came across the work around in this thread.
