Haven't posted on here ever but am a long time Camaro5 member, I have owned a bunch of cars since my 5th gen, a few C6 Z06's , a few CTSV's (one stock, one pulley and full exhaust), I was holding out for a C7 Z but can't justify the price, I cross shopped 6th gen ZL1's but same deal which got me looking at C7 Z51's (
all low to mid $40k range), from there I saw that there are several A8 1SS's local for $27-$30k all with 10k-15k miles former rentals, I'd have my pick of black, red, yellow, grey
, the rental part is not a huge turn on for me but honestly I'd have driven the car as hard as anyone else is capable of, I've watched vids online and I see that in the real world they compare pretty close to the C7 Stringray

What does everyone feel about the price and miles given they are former rentals?
The big draw for me is price, if I have to spend $35k+ I'll find a used C6 Z or pay more for a C7

What would it take to hit high 10's / low 11's? Not looking to go e85/flex or to add any kind of power adder. Would intake/full exhaust / tune get me close to low 11's? Anything to look out for outside of general car issues?
