I doubt the stock driveshaft and axles will hold up to that much power doing an aggressive launch on slicks. And for now I have to express doubts that the actual engine will hold up to that kind of power. But I seriously do believe they can make that kind of power on 10 psi. Remember, the 18s have a larger cylinder bore, larger valves, improved cylinder heads, a new intake manifold, upgraded cam, and the compression ratio is up by almost 1 full point as compared to the 15-17 Coyote engines. And the 15-17s were easily making over 700 with that kind of boost and with LTs/IM/other shit. All of the Gen 3 upgrades can make up about 100 hp difference when 10 psi of boost is added in.

And we can't compare them to our LT4s even if a Whipple is thrown in because (I can't believe I'm about to say this)...the LT4 doesn't flow as well as the Coyotes. We're limited by the cam and heads whereas the 5.0 DOHC engines have always flowed extremely well. Their cams are soo good that they consider it a waste of money to go with aftermarket cams. You'd be surprised at what they can make on boost. It's just a matter of them not being able to handle the power they can make.
Yea, unfortunately I know cus I'm capped out. I have to cam next to get me into the 800 range. But, for now, I'll have fun fkng with these so called...........holy grail Mustangs. I have yet to roll up on one that has beat me so. We'll see what happens when Tx2k rolls around cus I'm going hunting for sure. I'll be cammed by then. Should be enough to hang with MOST of the roll racers. I'll make sure I stay away from anything that has UGR on it. haha.
