Thanks all! And yes, a thoughtful witness with a dash cam saved the day for me. The cop said the video clearly showed the lady attempted a left turn (or u turn) from the right turn lane. Crossed right in front of me. I hit her left rear bumper almost perpendicular to my direction of travel.
