Oh, and what about the recall Ford had to put on EVERY Shelby due to the fire hazard after one got engulfed in flames at a track and damn near killed someone? It was such a blatant manufacturing mistake that they had to buy back the car from the guy even tho it was modded to the point of having a voided warranty. And what about the oil consumption issues plaguing the Shelby? Some people reported losing a quart of oil in less than 500 miles. WHat's that all about?
Gm didn’t fix it, they put it in the instruction manual that if you want to race the car, the A8 is going to overheat and thus either buy a manual transmission equipped vehicle or deal with it going into limp mode.

Ford never had a problem, they originally stated in the manual that if you want to track the car, either plan on owning the “track pack” equipped vehicles, add external coolers or deal with it going into limp mode. Because of a few cheap asses complaining, Ford simply dropped the non-track pack equipped vehicles and started including the option (at the higher price). So basically, a few cheap-ass GT350 owners screwed everyone looking to get a lower priced GT350.

As for the oil cooler issue, corvettes had the same damn recall lol.
