Keep in mind most cig lighters have an amperage limit. I think the cig fuse is typically 10amp or 15 depending on the vehicle. Also, thinner wires are used so I wouldn't want to be running at the limit for extended periods of time. Just checked the owner's manual, "power outlets", says its rated for upto 15 amps.
I have this pump
https://www.amazon.com/VIAIR-85P-Por.../dp/B0036E9VB6 which is rated at 15A. I'm comfortable using that for emergency use, but in a garage use a compressor. Before I got the compressor I used an old car battery to power such accessories.
