If wanting an always on, then go with the connection to your dash lighting. That is the easy one and the one people often go to by "mistake" that ends up having their puddle lights on all the time and then they burn out. That is what happened with my first puddle light install by a friend...have a replacement set, just have not had time to install and get corrected. As well have not gotten the FIFTY logo ones installed yet....hoping to get done in a week or two. Our plan will have installed with the dome light connection, as only time want them on is really for that couple of moments when door is open. Keep in mind (am sure you did, but others may not know)...If you leave on for longer than 30 seconds at a time you will burn out the color quickly.
