Yep you just reinforced the point in what would be the strongest year for the V8, new model introduction. So the GT was outsold by 22K of the "lessor" cars. Now find MY16 or 17 data like that to compare.

V8: 21,604
Now for MY17
Non-V8: 49,629
V8: 33,717

A much closer split there than Mustang. Obviously more people buy Camaro V8 models than Mustang V8 models compared to the 4 or 6 cylinder options, but we aren't talking a major difference to begin with. You can draw your own conclusions.
