GM did state the Manual 7 speed currently in the C7 will not fit in the 6th Gen Camaro, so I don't see them modifying the chassis mid production run to make it fit. That is a rear mount and uses a torque tube, the Camaro does not, i dont have all the of the dimensions, like i said all the new Manuel trans coming out of Tremec seem to be shorter.
Why? if not to fit the overall smaller cars that are now or soon to be in the lineup.
