I think for the most part this is what most non fan boys expected. I expected the 1LE to win on the track (not by that big of a gap but still win easily)
I also wouldn't say Mustang's were never good at handling. The 5th gen cars for the first half Mustang was clearly the better handling car of the two. The First 5.0 GT permformance pack got tested against the M3, the BOSS 302 was a pretty damn good handling car as well. Then GM really stepped it up with the 1LE, ZL1 and Z/28. Ford's been playing catch up since, but I wouldn't say Mustang was NEVER good at corner carving.

I am kind of shocked by the 1/4 results. They both ran a bit slower than I was expecting.
But now we have a magazine test 3rd party per Blaq's requirments that says the cars are a drivers race
