I'm 72 and this is probably my last car also. Just keep getting it fixed. I get some nice comments from young kids and some twenty-something guys who obviously know a bit about cars. Most surprising was a girl at the lawn mower repair shop, probably not long out of high school, who asked if I had the LT1 engine and did I get the A8 or the manual. Gotta like that.
