All that said......look REAL close - it has the "Z/28" backing plate for the badge in the grill area........

The 5th generation Z/28 Camaro lacked product differentiation from the regular SS Camaro so I don't think that means this isn't a Z/28. Though you make a test for this being an option package going forward or testing of after market parts.
Here is what I don't get, if they were just doing that then they could have simply taken a 1LE or ZL1 Camaro and put those brakes on it. One source said that the rear tires are 295s which would indicate that this isn't a ZL1 Camaro though also not an SS 1LE Camaro.
I feel that they have the parts laying around to put a Z/28 Camaro together (one that would beat the 5th generation car and for less money).
