My understanding is under 45-40 degrees, there is reduced traction. Under 32, there is a strong possibility of cracking on top of more reduced traction.
I have drove mine in that 32-40 degree range with no real issues, but also I'm consciously driving much more careful, using the Snow/Ice mode as well.
