Not sure on the Camaro, but for the Miata I have all the carbon hoods were heavier than the factory aluminum, save for one. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest to find the same with the Camaro. I have a VIS carbon on my Tacoma and it's actually fiberglass with a carbon fiber exterior. Does anyone know if these Camaro hoods are pure carbon?
