But it's not. As you stated you got an excellent deal on a $42.5K car. Ultimately if one was to get a base Camaro with $38K MSRP, they can pick that up for less than $37K as well, which you can argue would be a better value, depending on their needs.

Absolutely on point here. It's more like a 'car', not a 'sports car'. You sit upright, a lot easier to get in and out of.

It's only marginally bigger. If you have kids, doesn't make a difference. I would go as far as to say, the Mustang is only good enough to seat adults in the back if you're running out for lunch, not for long trips. In my experience that rear room did not sway me from a Camaro.

I like the power delivery and the power curve on the Coyote as well, it felt smoother and more linear. The LT1 has a more brutish aspect to it. Not necessarily worse IMO, just different. You step on the gas and the torque is there. With the Coyote it has more build up to it. So I wouldn't say the Coyote is better, I would argue it's different in its delivery. Which one you like and appreciate more is arbitrary.
I completely agree with you, the LT1 is more of a brute engine, not that is bad, it is less refined.

The Coyote reminds Europeans engines in it's power delivery. I'm French and had a bunch of Euro M3, I find the same type of power delivery but X 1.5-2

Anyway I'm putting long tube headers, CAI and MSD Intake manifold + tune of my vette, should make an interesting change
