Your opinion on the engines kind of went out the window for me at the mention of virtually the same torque when clearly not only is it significantly less, but also the curve isn't anything special.

Because I bought my 2018 GT PP M6 with 301A option (Sync 3 8 inch screen 9 HP full LED etc) for 37k brand new, which is the price of a 1SS base more or less...
The 1LE is to compare to PP2, though I will stay pretty positive the 1LE will be faster on the track cause the GM platform is a wonderfull handling one
On the paper the torque is far better for the Camaro, on the dyno it is almost the same, with 400lbt at the wheels or so .... and 420HP+ at the wheels (all stock one hit govenor in 4th at 6800 rpm and power still climbing
You can see you will have 400+ to the wheels from 5500 to 7500....
