Just saw this. It’s a bone-stock $53,000 Mustang GT Premium. Performance pack, magnetic suspension, active exhaust, and basically every comfort and convince option available. Keep in mind that this is done on Michelin PS4 tires, which are grippier than the Eagle F1 tires on the 1LE and ZL1.

Another interesting point: “Weather conditions were indeed favorable, I recorded 57 degrees, barometric pressure of 30.10, and the humidity was super low for Florida (even in December) at 26 percent. This equated to a Density Altitude of just a few feet above sea level. There was also a slight cross/tailwind, maybe 5-8 mph. “

That strip has really good prep too.

What are your thoughts on this time? I want to see an SS1LE run on the same track in the same conditions, because that’s the closest thing to this mustang. But even then, the mustang has an automatic. I know drag times are stupid and all but you don’t believe that a GT PP loaded with options and only 420lb-ft can outrun an SS 1LE, do you?
But a 60-ft of 1.881 is kinda impressive.

Does anyone with an SS 1LE have a time slip?

What are your thoughts on this run?
I just got a pair of the PS4S's and they do hook up good. For the few chances I got to test them before it got cold they appeared to completely hook in second and slightly spin in 1st. I can't really remember exactly how good the GYs did when they were new but I do think the PS4S's put more power to the ground.
