Thanks for info. My only issue is the venturi effect provided by tapping into a location near the supercharger inlet just wouldn't provide enough vacuum unless your inlet filter was so clogged up but then you'd have some other problems.

So you have a certain volume of blow gas trying to get out of the motor. At what point does the Venturi become a restriction compared to just letting it vent to atmosphere?

A room is filling with smoke. Do you open the huge window and let it vent or do you seal it up with only a 3.5in Computer case fan exhausting the smoke?

I agree the stand alone vacuum would be great but like you said, they just don't last on a daily driver with any reliability.
