I clarified my statement. But I didn't edit it. Those runs are subject to a lot of variables. Take away one and it won't be anywhere near an 11.3. And again, same day and same track with same driver and I still think a stock ZL1 will win especially in unfavorable DA.

Marketing. "707 HP". If one car had 699 hp and the Hellcat showed up with 701 then guess which one will get more press. LOL! And not because one has 2 more HP than the other. But because it is over 700 while the other is not. See? Dodge was smart and played their cards right. GM had already produced a 631 hp ZR1. Then Ford showed them up with a 663 hp GT500. Then for 2015 the Z06 would have 650. So what did Dodge do? They slapped everyone with 707 horsies and made GM and Ford look like they were just effing around.
